In many parts of the world, tea time is an honored tradition of refinement and elegance. Our debutantes, masters, and parents were treated to a traditional high tea party that involved things like manners, tea etiquette, table etiquette, and dainty foods.
Our students were taught the traditions, history, and functions of the various kinds of tea parties. Afternoon tea was considered to be a ladies’ social occasion and we wanted to introduce our young ladies to this tradition.
